The West Highland Way is Scotland’s most popular long distance hike, suitable for beginners who want an introduction to multi-day hiking. It winds past lochs, munros, and villages, with options to summit nearby peaks such as Ben Lomond and Ben Nevis.

This trail guides hikers around one of the most recognizable peaks in the Alps while challenging them with multiple glacier crossings, cable supported trails and the biggest climb sections from the Walker’s Haute Route and Tour of Monte Rosa.

ALTA VIA 1 - AOSTA VALLEY

Eiger to Matterhorn
