The Tour of Monte Rosa is a popular trail, and some accommodation books out well in advance, especially those properties that overlap with other popular trails such as Walker’s Haute Route.
If you’re reading this page, you’ve hopefully drafted an itinerary and are ready to pounce on your target properties. Well done! Unfortunately, though, it’s not usually that straightforward. Some properties accept books 12+ months in advance, and others accept bookings only 3 months before the season opens. To make it easy for you to stay on top of your bookings, we’ve collected the booking status of ~100 properties along the Tour of Monte Rosa trail.

How do I book a bed or campsite?
All our self-guided Tour of Monte Rosa packages include access to our new planning app (now live!). The app shows the booking status for all accommodation locations, with a “Book now” link. We redirect you to their preferred booking method, including directly on their website, their online booking engine partner, or email.
What if there is no availability for my preferred dates?
Use our planning app to find:
accommodation options nearby to first choice,
accommodation options accessible by transport to/from the trailhead (i.e bus)
accommodation options available by “skipping ahead” on the trail using transport (i.e bus, gondola)
